This piece features a design with many grasses and flowers. The fabric is in a darker color, making it suitable for everyday wear. While the flowers resemble the "Ominaeshi" (Patrinia scabiosifolia), one of the seven flowers of autumn in Japan, their exact identification is uncertain.

Our process
We have shortened the length and replaced some of the lining to make these vintage kimonos more wearable.
In Japan, it has long been customary to take apart and adjust the size of kimonos to wear the same fabric indefinitely. (The traditional method involves adjusting the seam allowances without cutting the fabric to resize the kimono.)
While vintage kimonos often have stains due to their age (noted above if any), please enjoy the texture of authentic silk, which is not made of polyester.
